The Objectives of Establishment Of
The Oversea Medical Facilities Assistance Association.
In Japan at present about two hundred-thousands of Used Patient Beds for Hospital are disused in a year by the reason f the term of validity and the hospital integration policy by Government of Japan and the number of them will be presumed to be increased more and more hereafter.
If they are renewed with complete-repairing (repairing and coating with paint-hundred percent functional), they are made use of efficiency again.
Considering these facts we volunteers have wanted to gather these used patient Beds and utilize them by means of donation (for nothing) to the hospitals (Institutions equivalent to them) of Developing Countries to improve the quality of Medical Facilities and also to promote the Health and Well-being of the people.
For these objectives we volunteers have decided to settle this association (NGO).
This project is implemented by receiving support of the Funds of Grant assistance for Grassroots Projects (GGP) by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
These funds of GGP are provided only after the examination and evaluation by Embassy of Japan on the Basis of the application from the Recipient Organization and also the approval of Ministry of Foreigh Affairs of Japan.
The outline of GGP is attached in the accompanying papers.
